The fishing recently has been just like the weather...up and down. Friday's front that moved through gave us the first major change in weather in a couple of weeks, and with the northeast winds, the fishing was much tougher on Saturday. We only landed 2 keepers on Saturday morning's trip. Sunday, while fishing with the Swanson family from Manton Michigan, we had a little better bite and we were able to get 9 keepers in the boat. Walleyes Choice harnesses in I-62 was by far our best weapon of choice. (http://www.walleyeschoice.com) Today's trip started out really good, we had 4 keepers in our first two passes over the structure we've been fishing and then it was total frustration after that. We went on to lose several nice fish before the bite died and we went casting spinnerbaits for pike. I-62 and I-51 were our best colors today (Monday). Here's a few pictures from the last couple of days on the water. Good luck from all of us in the Bay de Noc area.
