Little Bay de Noc Fishing Reports

The City of Manistique held it's annual "Little Jiggers" kids derby on Saturday.  This is by far the best kids derby I have ever seen.  If you have children up through the age of 16...you've got to take them to this.  Every entrant gets a bucket of goodies upon arrival, and there are also raffles for augers, and many other prizes for the kids that finish in the top 5 of their age bracket.  The derby lasts 2 hrs., so it doesn't take up the whole day, and biggest fish wins.  There are perch, bluegill, trout, walleye, and rockbass available.  For only $5 a hole...you can't beat it.  We have gone two of the past three years with friends...and had a blast.  Here are some pictures from this years derby!  Congratulations to all the "Little Jiggers".
