Just beginning to get my plans in order for the yearly trip and was wondering how the fall walleye bite is going? Haven't seen too many reports on the walleye bite for LBDN lately.
The last 3 trips have been slow for me, on Saturday we had 6 on a five hour trip biggest was 24 inches and the next 2 we only had 2 each trip with one 25 incher on Sunday and on Monday a 24 incher. The high winds have made travel on the water a bit unpleasant, choosing where you had to be instead of where you would prefer to be.
Fished little bay hard Saturday and Sunday and only 2 walleye to report. The wind didn't help but it was really slow. Didn't even mark much of anything. Fished off of Days river, Kipling, center reef, first reef, hunters point, Escanaba harbor, black bottom and ford river. 8ft to 25ft and every depth in between. I'm really curious if anybody did any good. I've done pretty good here in the summer and expected big things in the fall but got almost nothing.
