Got rained out at work again which didn't bother me any. Decided to try a new spot that I hit earlier in the year. My timing was better this time around as I landed 3 steelies today. I threw back two of the smaller ones. A 13 and a 14 incher. Both were plants. I kept the larger of the 3 which measured in at 17 inches. The larger one was a native. I should also mention that I caught all 3 fish within 20 minutes out of the same two holes. I saw quite a few more moving up stream as I walked the bank but couldn't get any of them to take interest. Still using nothing but crawlers on an aberdine.........If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
