catman Guru Status: Offline Posts: 1371 Date: Mar 4, 2011	A Few Perch... Permalink    Printer Friendly My wife Theresa and I hit an inland lake this afternoon. We caught perch from 26-52 feet deep. Nothing to write home about size-wise, just nice eaters.  Also caught a 16 inch walleye. The walleye hit about 3:30 pm shortly after we got out there on a #5 GGT. Might have caught more perch if I had remembered to take some perch minnows!!! I caught all my perch on the #5 GGT while Theresa caught hers on a teardrop and waxworm. She had a bunch come unhooked too. Upon getting back to the truck, I noticed she still had a very tiny jig on her pole from the last time we fished bluegills and I think that was her problem with not getting good hooksets.
