I was wondering if anyone is familiar with bass lake by Stueben. I took a ride to check it out but could not find a launch. On the south side there was a camp site and they had the "access" all blocked off with campers... I spun over to the north side and couldn't get close to the water. Was I in the right place? Never fished it any suggestions?

Are you talking about West Bass that is west of Gwinn? There is a launch at the camp ground but its not your typical DNR launch. Its been a while since I have been there and from memory, I dont think there would be room to put campers in front of the launch.

this bass lake is south east of munising, close to triangle, thunder lake. PS caught some dandy bluegills in thunderlake recently. 10"+ also lots of bass 12-16" range and tons of hammer handles.
