July 24 LBDN Report
(Preview)
Fished the north end with harnesses. Caught many small walleyes and small perch. At dawn, the bite was so fast I could not keep two lines in the water. However, no keeper walleyes. Also caught 4 sheephead, 1 sucker, and 2 northern. A huge northern tried to take one of the northern pike at the boat.

One 19 inch walleye plus kept 1 good perch. Caught 5 undersizedwalleyes, 3 sheephead, 1 northern and several smalll perch. North end of LBDN. Same area as yesterday, but different results with north wind and first day of high pressure.

Fished the north end of LBDN with harnesses. Had a limit by 9:30 AM. Walleyes were 15, 15, 16, 18, 18. Caught about 10 undersized, 1 sheephead, and several small perch. Less than 10 boats on the bay.

Fishing Report June 4

Went fishing off Breezy Point after the rain yesterday. I was wrong. Fished from 1:30 to 4:30 PM and it rained the whole time. Fishing was good. Caught 26, 26, 22.5, 21, 21 and 19 inch walleyes. Released the two 26 inch fish. Plenty of boats showing up for the evening bite.
